no am i not defending it because my husband is illegal. i know a lot of illegals that come her and keep to themself.... but there are also those who come here and get into trouble, and they should be sent back to where they come from..... but its not only that, people jump to the conclusion that your mexican so your illegal, or your illegal so your out here killing or raping people, majority of the people are only going off the bad. they dont do their own research, they go off of what they hear.

Its pure ignorance. Ive been debating the issue since day one, and let me tell you something, Its point less. They're TO close minded to ever understand whats really going on. Everytime I get on this site, I feel like ive walked into a site full of KKK members. Perhaps its because its the internet, but some of the remarks made on this site towards the undocumented, are uncalled for.

I understand what you are saying and where your coming from. I get the same Non-sense from these people.

And you see how people come to the conclusion that just becuase she said hes a Mexican-citizen, that hes an Illegal. Its ridiculous.

No. My dad was born in Canada to Scottish parents. My mum was born in Newzealand to an English father and a Newzealander mother. I was born in Australia but live in England and have three English born children. The point is don't worry about whether people see you as illegal when you aren't. Just live. It doesn't matter at all. You see the people I tell this think it is great that I have so many decent options of where I can live in the world without any hassles. Only jealous idiots would call me an illegal or give me a thumbs down for this answer.

Yeh ok but you start off with the question "Do you think I am illegal?" I gave you your answer to this question but I think the question you should have asked was "Do you think I am an idiot trying to get some attention by marrying an illegal?" I mean come on, why would you marry an illegal Mexican anyway? Wouldn't a normal legal American man with a bus pass be good enough for you?

It would seem not. However, you can't say you are unbiased and objective, can you?

that came out wrong. Given your situation I don't think all the logic in the world or harm proven to our citizens would change your mind. It does make arguing over it a little futile.

I didn't assume you were illegal, but I DID assume that you had some sort of emotional attachment to an illegal alien(s). You refuse to see the issue dispassionately, but instead focus on your own "feelings". It's clear to me that you don't see this issue clearly, whether it's because you are being disingenuous or because you just refuse to consider the legal and moral issues that this kind of illegal activity causes for the citizens and legal immigrants.

When this happens, it's apparent there are selfish reasons for it.
*****edit***
For the poster below me -- I find you offensive. Being against illegal activity has NO similarities to those racists who use the N word. You aren't helping your cause with those of us who ARE of color. You don't have our sympathy just because you throw out those words. We aren't stupid and I resent the implication that we are that easily manipulated.

We KNOW who illegal aliens hurt. They hurt the working poor and lower middle class and many of us are a part of that group or have family members who are. Don't pretend to know how we think.

Not at all but somewhat naive to marry a Mexican national! Now I understand all of your questions, you are in a quandry due to emotional ties. I'm glad that you are willing to follow your husband to his country as you may need to do so.

If you were born in the US then you are a US citizen. If you have a green card or current visa then you are legal. If you have none of the above then yes you are an illegal.

You guys are confusing "race" with "ethnicity."
There are three "races"; *******, Caucasoid, Mongoloid.
"Hispanic" is NOT a "race" it's an "ethnic" group like "Berber", "Saxon", or "Celtic."
Being of Irish descent I can't go around calling myself a different "race" by referring to myself as "Celtic."
Unless they're Black or Asian "Hispanics" are caucaision.
Skin color does not determine race, anatomy does.
Don't they teach Science in high school anymore?

It doesn't matter, does it? We don't know each other on here.
There is a lot of frustration and anger, especially with what is going on. It's hard for some people, including myself to deal with sometimes. Please don't take it personal.
