"I don't remember anything." Memory lapses brought about by drinking alcohol are known as blackouts. Blackout drinking is one of the signs of alcoholism. Blacking out is NOT associated with normal social drinking. If this continues you might want to consider talking to someone about it. Losing friends over inappropriate behavior and then trying to make a joke out of it is NOT normal for non-alcoholics. It is very common among alcoholics. Many times those around the alcoholic see there is a problem long before the drinker does. Rarely do they say anything. Even if they do most heavy drinkers just laugh it off. Be aware of these little signs. It is often suggested, if you don't think you have a problem, go a month or two without drinking and see how you do.

Yes....and it was wrong. This should be a lesson to you and you should curb your drinking in any situation. If you don't remember anything, you should write a note to the bride and groom to apologize to them for any embarrassment or problems you may have caused when you were drunk at their wedding. Tell them, you have learned your lesson and will never let alcohol dominate you and you are very very sorry.
A word of advice, if you see that you are getting drunk and blacking out and not remembering anything, this is a warning sign of first signs of alcoholism. You may have a serious problem with alcohol so be aware and if it happens again, I would go to treatment or AA meetings or for counseling.

Yes! That is very inconsiderate. You should have had more self control during the day and waited until you got to the wedding to have a few drinks.

What on earth would make you think it wouldn't make you look bad?
Showing up drunk to any formal event - or, indeed, most events of any level of informality - is uncouth, stupid, and in some cases potentially dangerous.
Prepare to grovel to the hosts and guests of honor for forgiveness. Also, prepare not to be invited to a great many weddings or parties in the foreseeable future.

yahooguru is right. Now go get an apology card and send it to the couple with an extra $100 for causing them grief on their wedding day.

If your behavior showed you were smashed...absolutely.
Next time control yourself or get to a meeting alcoholic.

Not only is it wrong to show up smashed, it's wrong to get smashed whilst there. Grow up. Also wondering how you got there... hopefully you weren't driving.
