I'm walking down the aisle to "You Are So Beautiful" by Joe Cocker, and our first dance is to "At Last" by Etta James.

"Bless the Broken Road" Rascall Flatts, "Lost in this moment" Big and Rich, for something old school "Unanswered Prayers" by Garth I believe.

The instrumentals are absolutely lovely and the lyrics work perfectly for a first dance if she wanted to use it for that. Bonus is it's new enough it hasn't had a chance to become cliche yet.

Ask the church first, some don't allow secular music. In that case I would go with "Ave Maria" or "I can only Imagine" as a christian song.

I'm getting married this weekend. We wanted something a little bit different also.
For the processional we chose
Blue October "Calling you." There is a very slow awesome version hidden on their album after the last song.
Then when my bride comes out it will be
Etta James..."At Last." Kind of a cool powerfull song.
For the recessional we're playing Queen...crazy little thing called love.
First dance - From this moment - shania twain
garter - Let's get it on - Marvin Gaye
Father daughter - I loved her first from Heartland
Hope this helps.

Our wedding song is From This Moment by Shania Twain and Bryan White. I love the begining of the song.

Our wedding song was ONE FRIEND by Dan Seals. It's an older country song but sums up our life.

If they like Guns N' Roses at all, have them get the string quartet tribute to Guns N' Roses. Here is the link at Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/String-Quartet-Tribute-Guns-Roses/dp/B000BITTE4/ref=sr_1_2/104-0468075-3460747?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1189019449&sr=1-2

I hope to use one of these tunes instead of the traditional wedding march when I walk down the aisle (if my groom is not opposed).

As for country music nothing beats "I'll love you forever and ever amen".(Randy Travis) It's a beautiful song with great lyrics.
