1 Corinthians 9:18 What is my reward then? Verily that, when I preach the gospel, I may make the gospel of Christ without charge, that I abuse not my power in the gospel.
1 Peter 5:2 Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy flucre, but of a ready mind;

Sadly, there is no such verse. The eldership of your church should have dismissed this preacher LONG ago if he failed to properly preach the word to you -- that's their primary job! If at all possible, this is probably a good time for the congregation to have a meeting with the elders to address this matter. If you feel uncomfortable bringing this up, approach a congregation member with the gift of teaching, prophecy, or evangelism and he or she will say something. You CANNOT ignore this incident or it will happen again.
I pray that God sends your congregation a strong teacher who faithfully leads you until Jesus' return -- which should be soon!

1 Chronicles 16:21-23 (New King James Version)
21 He permitted no man to do them wrong;
Yes, He rebuked kings for their sakes,
22 Saying, “Do not touch My anointed ones,
And do My prophets no harm.”[a]
23 Sing to the LORD, all the earth;
Proclaim the good news of His salvation from day to day.
This Preacher is leaving your congregation, then pray for him, bless him, intercede for him.
if you have ought against him then forgive him so your prayers will not be hindered.
honor the preacher for his service to God & your congregation. if for somereason you find it hard remember that you should always honor the office which the man in in, even if you agree with leadership.remind people what happened when the congregation rebelled against Moses? remember what David the annointed king of Israel said about king Saul?

Lev 4:3 If the priest that is anointed do sin according to the sin of the people; then let him bring for his sin, which he hath sinned, a young bullock without blemish unto the LORD for a sin offering.

This is pretty much how your god starts over:
Genesis 6:7 And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.
