Ok i was just wondering really.. I'm 17 and im nearly 6'8 lol but i weight 14 stone so its ok. I'm all in proportion to my height. I was just thinking is this too tall or not? And do women prefer tall or short men?

Tall is good - stand tall and don't slump and be proud of who you are - there are also a lot of tall women that need a good tall man...... My husband is 6'5 and I am 5'7 ......like I said, "Tall is good"......

First of all- your are tall because of genes, and at the point of embryo initial development there were two possibilities, your mother could have had either a girl or a boy. It happened so that the embryo developed into the boy. Regardless the gender of a child the height of such a child is predetermined to be tall. So you are a tall guy, in case of a girl, she would have been a tall girl.
Women are used to be short and tall+medium height, the same is for men. Short men look for short women, while tall men should be looking for tall women, because the short height of a men is very burdensome for a tall women.

yes, that is tall but not like OMG guiness book of records or nothing. MY dad was actually 6"8 at his tallest point and my mom said that he was the "hunkiest" guy in her class. Different women have different tastes-- some perfer tall some perfer short. I am 5"10 and once dated a guy that was 5"2. It didnt last long though, (its different when the girl is taller) well i dont know if this helped much but i hope it did a little have a great day!!!!

Woman all prefer different things not every woman likes the same exact thing so choose how you want some guys like tall girls some like short girls.. As for me I'm really short and I would never date a guy thats shorter than me and I very rarely have to deal with that lol cause theres not alot of people shorter than I am but yea some guys like tall girls and its all up to you on what you like

Well women prefer tall guys if they have a matching persona to carry along or an aura say a sports hero or rock band guy or something like that...otherwise women tend to think sensibly to try and find out who would be a match or who would care for them...this has absolutely nothing with tall or short....it is how well they are impressed by either...

I'm only 5'8, and I do notice that women mostly prefer taller men. It's biology and genes kicking in...
I dated a 5'11 lass who liked to wear heals! It didn't bother me though, I don't have a napoleon complex. =) I just pulled out the cuteness factor that can come from a shorter guy.
At the end of the day, I respect a lady who can look past height. And those that don't go for me because of height - that's fine, if they are that vain then I'd rather be with someone else anyway. ;)

For the most part I would say women like tall guys. I myself am only 5'3. It is all in your attitude. I have found that dating older women is the way to go. They can look past things that I am not able to control and focus on who I am. Shorter guys have to work a little bit harder at dating. If a woman says no oh well time to move on.

I am 5'1" and my honey is 6'3" a lot of people ask if it is weird, and it isn't at all. It has a lot of benefits. At night we can curl up with eachother and neither is breathing in the other's face. I am short, so I look up most of the time anyway. Kissing isn't weird either. I prefer tall skinny guys, but to each their own. I would not date a guy shorter than me, but then again I can't find one shorter than me either. My honey likes that I am little and petite. I don't think that it really matters much, but it does make it hard to take pictures of us while we are standing(not a big deal).

They don't want guys towering over them too much or else they will be afraid so around girls just hang loose and have a good sense of humor. You want them to think of you as a big teddy bear but tough and serious when needed. Yes it is true Women would like to have guys a bit taller than them because women are always the ones not happy with their bodies so they don't wanna look too tall. All that I'm trying to say is feel really loose around girls and you should be fine

It depends on the woman. Short women like short guys. Tall girls, tall guys. Your really tall but I was 5'6 when I was 12 and I was tall. Its personality that matters - not height! Chin up. =)

Yes ,its basic instinct of a woman to like a tall guy. Evolutionarily man was a hunter and a taller and stronger guy was a better bread earner for the whole family.
When man was a hunter then being taller was a advantage, he could see the prey from a greater distance and attack on it in a more dominating position. So, a taller man was a better mate for a woman and after a span of millions of years this instinct has become a part of female brain wiring, whatever explanation she may give she can't change her wiring.
