www.gunsandammo.com is a pretty reliable source.... also i would check www.cheaperthandirt.com. My personal oppinion though when it comes to purchasing a new fire arm is to buy a custom.... it's alot more pricey but in the long run you really win. I have been working as an apprentice for a gunsmith for almost a year now and I've learned a lot of things reguarding the purchasing of firearms. Many times buying a factory built firearm will mean the sacrifice of hand "trued" parts and countless flaws within the firearm itself. Having a firearm custom built however means that you know exactly what you get... your reciever can be "trued", "headspaced", and mated to your stock. rifles are especially touchy when it comes to factory made guns.... If you are looking for a cheap firearm online then my advice to you would be to look around on www.cheaperthandirt.com or guns and ammo.... but if you really want a quality firearm then you should really think about going with a custom build it's worth every penny.

Go to walmart and get a shooters bible, they are less than 15 dollars. It will be good for several years before you need to update but the book can be taken to gun shows to compare prices and it is more trustworthy than Joe's Gun Website.

Here is a link to Gun Gallery:

Just remember that the prices are MSRP and you should be able to find any gun on this site for cheaper than what it is listed for. At least, I've never paid MSRP for a gun.

Go to the manufactor's website and get their price of the gun. Usually the actual price you will pay at a shop will be lower.

If you like berettas go to http://www.berettausa.com/product/product_pistols_main.htm

etc. for Glock, springfield, so on and so forth.

hey fanta!!,this is America,if you don't love it,LEAVE IT!!!!

edit:don't insult my intelligence fanta,I don't need your tools to build a bridge, but thanks anyway.I also am very aware of our nations war machine and don't exactly agree with it,but that has nothing to do with our right to keep and bear arms,as I am not waging war on anything.I also stand by my original statement of love it or leave it,after all we had to fight a war to gain our freedom from an oppressive king george, the bill of rights was drawn up that way to prevent the government from having to much power, perhaps I will post some links so you can browse through them and read for yourself, plus you can also if you like,as I also like to educate myself on the other views, whether I agree or not.

Go to http://gunbroker.com/ and look up what you are interested in. Their prices show what a fair price for both new and used firearms will sell for.

Check out gunbroker.com

or post the brand, model, caliber/gauge in question, I am sure DJ, JD, Ol' Fuzz or someone can give you an idea of worth.

if you know the type of gun its as simply as typing it in at google.com. if you don't know the type of gun you want then again, go to google.com and type in what you want the gun to do, IE "accurate long distance gun" or "deer gun" etc etc.
