Personally I am Antisexual(attracted to no gender) so dont do either, but just wonder why u would want to have a girlfriend, I have a few friends that are girls and they just annoy the hell out of me cant understand what you see in them.
I mean so many advantages to masturbation that having a girlfriend doesnt have.

well, look/read and don't assume i'm against you or something.
liking someone is not JUST for the sex; a real body can be replaced by fantasies and your hand (even though these are not enough), as you have already said. it's about caring for someone, thinking about them all the time, making your heart beat faster and your knees paralyze when you see them! it's a FEELING, man, it's not just carnal pleasure! are you following?
certainly, no one can blame you for being neutral when it comes to attraction; it's your freakin' choice! now you're like this, but what do you think? will you be like this forever?! i don't think so...

well its ok to masturbate, but I think you cant connect with your hand, you cant talk to it when you need advise, you cant be wih it when you are feeling lonely.
I think you are afraid of being intimate, because let me tell you if you are waiting to have a perfectly behaved, no nagging, no drama, no nothing that annoys you girlfriend.. you will have to keep waiting for a long time.... because there is not such thing...Its a full package... but you are only focusing on the negative side...
my advise to you is... put yourself out there, stop being an observer (specially of your friend's relationships)
