Continue to be the class act by being nice and considerate. Don't push your apologies on him any further...apologizing once is all that is necessary. You can't make him listen...he will come around when he is good and ready, and not a moment sooner.

Why do you apologized?
Is there anything you've done to make an apology?
If none then there's no need for an apology.
If your Ex is really being fuzzy about it then let him be.
JUst do your stuff and continue being frineds with his family and anyone you want. You make ur choices, because the choices you make will affect you. live life. In my Opinion ur Ex has the problem not you...
Continue what you are doing and ignore him. He may think ur too affected about ur break up with an @ss.

You did something you had to apologize for , now your calling him a jerk? It seems to be up to him weather he wants to continue the relationship . Be prepared to move on , your friends will decide who they want to be friends with. It doesn't mean you will loose your friends.

You mention in your statement that you've "tried to apologize". Perhaps it would help us answer your question if you would tell us a little about what it is you're apologizing for.

Then you just walk away and have nothing to do with him because obviously he's a jerk.
You don't need to beat the dead horse twice.

Write to them - either email or hard copy, even if just a card...be a friend and accessable...If ex takes offense, then he has a problem...Don't try to approach him anymore...Above all, be yourself...Don't change what you are just to be something you're not.
Good luck

Its kind of a packaged deal. Part of being friends with them is having to be friends with him. If he doesn't want any part of it, then its going to be awkward for you.

You leave his behind and find someone who'll respect you and treat you better. Start hanging out with different friends.

Let him be a jerk. Everyone else can see it and think he's nuts so why would it reflect on you?
