"Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound,
That saved a wretch like me.... (despicable person: somebody viewed with contempt or disapproval)

I once was lost , (unsure of where you are and where you are going)
BUT NOW I AM FOUND!
Was blind, (unable to recognize: unwilling or unable to understand something
)
BUT NOW I SEE!

T'was Grace that taught...
my heart to fear.
And Grace, my fears relieved.
How precious did that Grace appear...
the hour I first believed.
Is this you?

Yes, I consider this my song. I like what Chris Tomlin added to it...

My chains are gone
I've been set free
My God, my savior
Has ransomed me.

And like a flood his mercy rains
Unending love
Amazing grace.

AMEN!!!!

Amazing grace relates to personal epiphanies or the light of reason dawning on someone so that they see past errors. It is the experience of repentance, transcendence and enlightenment simultaneously. Please people, don't use sappy phrases like 'love the lord,' it makes you sound like Islamic fundamentalists and causes gag reflexes in the people you are trying to communicate with! It is revolting.

Yes. not only spiritually but naturally as well. Before I truly met Jesus, I had a drinking problem and I coudln't think clearly without a cigarrette but once God came into my life I was able to bear sobriety and see more of God that way so that song has a 2-fold message for me.

Thank you so much for allowing me to share!

yes! Count your blessings. Once you realize how valuable you are and how much you have going for you, the smiles will return, the sun will break out, the music will play, and you will finally be able to move forward the life that God intended for you with grace, strength, courage, and confidence.

Nope.
Hardly seems like grace to "create" humans simply to worship yourself, and burn them for eternity for not doing so. Kinda makes your god sound like an awful sh*t.

Well from your point of view, the song that would fit me is "Highway to Hell".

More like "Dazed and Confused".

Either that, or "The Humpty Dance".
