Dave Navarro has a tattoo of a rose and it says "I have one but not by choice". I saw an interview where he explained the meaning behind it, and I thought it was pretty cool. He ended up meeting a woman by the name of Rose on a plane that was a holocaust survivor and they were talking about his tattoos, and she said "I have one but not by choice".

The most interesting and coolest tattoo i've ever seen has got to be Micheal Scofields from the Fox hit TV series Prison Break. It's a tatto of the Sistine Chapel but hidden behind the Picture is a map of Fox River State Penatentuary, the escape plan for breaking his brother out. The Tatto also has more meaning to it, for example, it has a deck of cards, the numbers on the card give a telephone number. It's a brilliant tattoo and really well put together.

My husband has a full sleeve, and it's all dedicated to his family. He has a pirate ship on his forarm, and behind it is a map of the Phillipines where his grandma was born, and it looks like an old school treasure map, with the dash lines that end with a "x" on Manilla, and there is a mermaid in the water (me) and some other sea creatures. Then he has the Bates motel on his upper arm with a for sale sign in the front yard, he's a relator. He has the Semper Fi Marine tattoo for his dad, and a japanamation lady for his mom on his other arm. He has a caddy symbol with a crown for Elvis, becasue we both love Elvis, and a Lucky 13 on his inner upper arm for me, it's my lucky #. On his other arm he has a Salvador Dali melting clock on his arm set at the time of his birth 8:27 am. And last but not least he has my mom's name tattooed on one of the tomb stones behind his Bates motel. My mom died in Dec 06. It may seem odd or un-tastful to some, but my husband has ALWAYS said he'd NEVER tattoo anyones name on him, and he put my mom on him. It was the sweetest thing ever in my eyes!

The most interesting tattoo I've seen to date (and I've seen many) is one a guy had tattooed all down his ribs. It was a black and gray skeleton that was held up and being moved by puppet strings.

I think you need to start looking at more tattoos, cause that tattoo is played out.
My friend Alanna has pretty sweet laser guns tattooed above her boobies. They are the most obnoxiously bright tattoos ever.

I saw a really COOL backpiece once. It was a huge picture of Taz with baby foot prints tattooed on his shoulder. Taz also had stars on each toe, and a butterfly on his buttcrack. Around his ankle was a rosary anklet tattoo, and down his side were cherry blossoms (they make him feel beautiful when he seems them in the mirror each morning). His other ankle has the kanji characters for "strength" and "soybean." On his wrists he has the words "JUST BREATHE." He had cherries on either side of his breast (he was once a psychobilly Fatty Page). Down by his groin there is the cutest little lady bug. Of course, behind Taz's ear there is the tiniest rose. Then there is a tribal sun on his "tummy" (the centre of which is his belly button), and around the sun he has his three children's names: Ashley, Brittany, and Dillan. Between his shoulder blades he has a Celtic style cross, to show both his Catholic and Irish heritage (the cross is shaded in red white and green to reflect his Italian heritage from his mom's side).

for me it would have to be not one in particular,but ALL the harry potter tattoos that I have seen.For people that do not like hp or arent an absolute fanatic about it them it is hard to understand why the hell someone would get a hp tattoo but to me since I AM that big of a fan then they are amongst the most beautiful tattoos i have ever seen,becuase hp is so dear to my heart.

Regis and Kelly were tattoo'd on a girls leg, above her ankle, but only after Regis and Kelly had signed their names. So, there signatures were tatto'd along with a fantastic replica of their faces just above the signatures. This was shown on their show when they were in Niagara Falls.

my husband has his coat of arms on his arm . of course , he has 27 tattoos , and each one is beautiful , I have a legging done with all connecting hearts attached with a white ribbon and inside the ribbon are the names of my husband , myself , my children and grandchildren , located on each heart , that travels up my left leg . the hearts are surrounded by flowers that were copied from my Grandmothers , wedding picture tin ,,,, i love tattoos , it's very addicting ....
