I lost my twins at 19 wks 6 days, on 8/26/07. I had a natural birth, they were just too young to live. It's been 10 days, and I want to go back. I think it will help emotionally. I am a machinist, and my boss said he'd work with me, as far as if i need to leave and so on. What do you think. is it too soon, has my body healed enough yet to go back? I'm planning on returning tomorrow so any answers would be appreciated

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I think that you should know your limits best and you'll know what makes you feel better. If it will make you feel better to get out of the house and immerse yourself in work, then go for it. If you think that would be overwhelming, then by all means, stay home. I think it will be helpful if you have a plan for how to handle all the comments, so you don't break down at the office. Lots of people want to wish you well, but don't understand that you might not want to talk about it and prefer to focus on work. If you have a friend that sits near you and can bail you out of any uncomfortable situations, that will help. Good luck tomorrow and I wish you an your family the best.

Sorry for your loss.
You might be ready to work, but it's the standing that I can see being a problem (my brother and uncle are both machinists). Give it a try for 4 hours and see how you go. It might be easier to come in for half days for a week and see how it goes and then move on to whole days.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss.
Always remmeber things happen for a reason and soon you will be blessed again.
If your doctor says your OK to go back and your boss is willing to work with you I say do it and go back. Overall this is probably what you need so that you dont dwell on this situation more and make it worse on yourself emotionally

I think if you are ready, and your boss is willing to work with you on breaks and such, I think you should be ok to go back to work. If you need to leave work, leave.
It is ok to cry too. I know the pain of your loss. Talking about the child I lost helps me. (((((((HUGS))))))) Good luck.

I think it is a good idea for you to return to work. You probably need to keep yourself busy so you are not thinking about it constantly.
