Why does there have to be either a God or a Jesus for us to love one-another?

Um, no. His most important "lesson", one that oh-so-many Christians repeat to non-Christians of all types, is that they have to worship him or else. How am I wrong? The Christian faith is quite specific about this: Worship and adore God/Jesus, or else he will do something really bad to you. The details vary: Some say oblivion, while others seem to relish the idea that everyone not like them is being tortured forever. In either case, the point is the same: Worship or else. And here's something that might ruffle a few feathers: Humans were capable of forgiving one another before Jesus came around...and they didn't have to have a blood sacrifice to do it.

I am a Jehovah's Witness and we are taught from God's Word the Bible to be forgiving. We are all imperfect and make mistakes. Jesus died for us so we could have forgiveness of sins. If we don't forgive others we will not be forgiven.
Remember the Apostle Paul said if we do not have love we are nothing.

Wait! I thought we were supposed to love and forgive unconditionally? God supposedly loves us but will only forgive on the condition that we accept. So are we to forgive conditionally like God or unconditionally as told?

And if god loves us so much, why design a choice between heaven and hell? Why not have it be between forever with god or forever without?

Sure he loves us, has be been napping for the last 2000 years? It seems like the miracles that used to happen all the time have completely dried up.
