My sister has two hours at lunch and lives close enough to her senior high school to come home and sunbathe in our backyard which is enclosed by a five-foot solid fence. So she doesn't have to change into a bathing suit, she does it in her bra and panties. They are always white but not transparent. Sometimes I join her in my briefs so she will consider things "equal." The next door neighbors who live in a two-story house complain that they can see us from the second floor and have asked our parents to stop us. We do not care--we are as covered as we would be in a bikini bathing suit. Are we wrong in doing this?

Considering that most bikinis are just as revealing as panties and bras, I don't see the problem as long as they aren't so revealing that you guys are naked. But you said they aren't transparent. What's the big deal??? Some bikini's are thongs which shows a lot more. I think they are just bieng prudes. How do they not know it's not a bathing suit?

Get bras and panties that would look like a swim suit from a distance. That way you can sunbathe and keep peace with the neighbors.

I think its fine, bras and panties cover you just as much as a bikini would, and its your property! Those neighbors should mind their own business. Technically, if you have up a privacy fence, I think you could actually lay out naked on your property legally. Maybe not reasonable, but legal. But yeah, I don't think you are doing anything wrong in your underwear.

Your neighbors shouldn't be looking into your backyard. It's your property and being that you have a privacy fence, what you do back there is your business. Just because they have a 2-story house doesn't mean that the view of your backyard should be of concern to them. I say keep it up and tell them to mind their own business.

Tell your neighbors to close their blinds or drapes if they are bothered. Your behind a five foot fence and that provides for privacy. Yours is being invaded by nosy neighbors.

It is your backyard, as long as there is a privacy fence up there should be no problems. Don't your neighbors have something else to do besides staring at you guys?

This one is up to your parents. In their place I'd tell you to just be sure you're both wearing stuff that is opaque and tell the neighbors to back off.

Tell your parents to inform your neighbors that it's none of their business what you wear while on your own property. Ask them to quit peeking at you out the window. They don't have to look.

You might advise them that peeping toms can be arrested in most communities.
