Here is just one of the sentences from my presentation. I am not sure if I am correct to say that.

"Customers don't care much about the price as opposed to shopping for cars or other expensive things."

Does not make sense.......About the price of WHAT as opposed to shopping for cars or other expensive things.

Yes, it would be correct assuming you insert an object in it. Suppose your presentation is about ear phones, then you'd go:

"Customers don't care much about the price of ear phones as opposed to shopping for cars or other expensive things."

I assume you are talking of a low priced item, in which case something along the following lines may be more appropriate:

Customers are not too concerned about the price, unlike when shopping for cars or other expensive items.

um, I believe you're contradicting yourself--its better like this, I think--Customers don't care much about the price, when shopping for cars or other expensive things.

I prefer--
the price is not the main concern for the customers shopping for the luxury items.
I believe that--
Even the rich people care about the price; however, they are willing to pay more for better quality, unique, or rare items, for example.
