The sexton at the church will have a list of plot numbers, you will need to see him to find out the exact location of your father's grave. I did it a few years back as my grandparents don;t have headstones. Good luck.

Hey Wesley, it's o.k. that you haven't visited the grave in a awhile. After someone dies we all just keep getting on with our lives. As long as you haven't been degenerate and strung out on meth or something, don't stress youself. And if you have, well welcome back to the real world. Now finding the grave is simple. Just call the cemetary office and tell them you're looking for ------grave, and if it's the right cemetary they'll have it in their records. If you have the wrong cemetary you may have to call around to a few in the area. When you get the right one and go and stop by the office, because some will give you a little map for reference. You know my mom had an old aunt and she used to wonder where she got buried, and I found out that it was very close to us and my mom used to pass it everyday on the way to work. Unfortunately my mom had also passed on by that time. Good luck!!!

Okay you are in luck!! My father is the Funeral Director in Charge for Hillside Funeral Home and he is on the Texas Broad of Directors Association!!

If you have the cemetery and the Fathers full name then go to the court house and ask for the Biro of vital sitics.. They are the ones that issue birth and death certificates...

On the death certificate there is always the plot number listed!! That is the location of the burial site for your father!!

I was just wondering if the cemetery keeps records why they are not able to point out where he is!!

Oh and do not ever fell bad for not going to some ones grave.. They see and hear all that we do.. So he knows that you are trying to find him.. Just ask him.. It might come in a dream!!

Good luck!!

Go to the cemetery's office, they all have one, and get the plot map that will show you the exact location of your father's grave. Do it during a normal working day to be sure you find the office open!

I assume that it is a working cemetery and if so there will be a managing authority that has all the grave locations by name. Contact that authority and ask them where your dad's grave is located and they will give you the plot number and it should be an easy find with that.

If you know the precise cemetery, call the funeral home in that area, ask them for the name of the custodian or clerk of the cemetery. They should be able to give you a plot location. If it is a country cemetery, someone is hired to keep it mowed and kept up etc. Contact that person. They will be able to help you.

trace or check from the cemetery managers they may have some information's no one have access to. Is best talking to real people in this kind of situation and not relying on the virtual world.

If you know where and when he died, the local newspapers in the area may be able to help you. The obituary listings usually have the locations where he was buried at.

you can go to the cemetary office, where the people arrange the plots and ask them where he would be. they should have it in records, or at least be able to point you in the right direction as long as you have his passing date.
