This is a SCAM. You haven't won anything. There are several email scams hitting the internet, including the famous Yahoo lottery scam. See below link for confirmation of this scam and how to report it to Yahoo:
http://www.consumerfraudreporting.org/lotteryscam_Yahoo2.php
Unscrupulous thieves have sent you this email and they are trying to part you from your hard earned cash. They will often ask you to call a premium rate number and keep you holding on whilst you rack up a huge phone bill. They are then paid a large proportion of this phone bill. They may ask you to divulge personal information about yourself or ask for your bank or credit card details. Do not divulge any such information under any circumstances. It is surprising how many innocent victims have been duped by these types of emails. Just remember the thieves who send them are very clever and extremely convincing. I suggest you delete the email and send it into cyberspace, hopefully along with the thieving scumbags who send them.

I'm starting to get very fed up with the number of people posting this question on YA. Surely you recognise a scam when it jumps out of your inbox and slaps you across the face! If you didn't enter the lottery, you have won NOTHING. If someone asks for your bank details unexpectedly you have won nothing but the opportunity to have your bank account emptied.

We don't even have a Uk State lottery, it's a scam, why would you have to pay money to get money don't hand anything over. In UK only official lottery is The National Lottery.

The first clue that it's a fraud, is that it refers to the 'British State' lottery.

Britain is not a state; it is a country. Therefore, we do not have a 'State' lottery. Simple, really...

(By the way, any lottery, anywhere in the world requires you to BUY a ticket in order to enter. There is no such thing as a 'free entry' lottery. Anywhere. Ever.)

Ignore it. It is a scam. If you won a lottery they would not contact you through your email

I once got that same thing from a UK lottery in my email and I took it to an attourney and they assured me it was fake and I emailed them telling them how I didn't appreciate them playing with my dreams like that. I let them know how I felt.

Good luck. Let them know how you feel like I did.
They never replied back after that.
