Atheist---believes there is no God
Theist----believes there is a God or some form of God
Agnostic---Unlike the atheist that believes there is no God the Agnostic believes there is not enough prove to establish whether there is a God or not..

I believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God, documenting the life of Jesus, that the workd was created not evolved, that Mary was a virgin, that Christ preformed miracles, that He was crucified on the cross, that He rose again 3 days later, that He ascended into Heaven and one day soon will return and rapture His children (all those who believe in Him and has accepted Him into their hearts.) I mena no disrespect to any one but I also believe that those who believe He is not real or exist is in dire need of help (the Bible says,"The fool hath said in his heart there is no God)...

Most self-centred men live like man is his own god, but search for a "higher power"....atheists, theists & agnostics BELIEVE they know the answer by faith in their own god-given mind.

Atheists:

Atheists take the unproveable faith position there is no god.

God only appears to exist, in their opinion, but He does not. That means that man really is his own god, as he wants to be.

Theists:

Theists take the more reasonable, but still fairly proofless position that God does exist.

(But "theist" is a weak word that does not specify the One living God that I serve ... only sure there is "a" god).

We feel it is true, in out guts ... and find the whole of creation convinces our mind ... confess it with our mouth ... and we believe it in our hearts.

agnostic:

An "agnostic" sits on the fence, between atheists & theist, refusng to take a side on god's existance.

When some one says they're an "agnostic", I answer them ... IN JUST 3 WORDS ... "Are you sure!"

Like salient said, an agnostic is still either atheist or theist.

Agnosticism has NOTHING to do with belief - only knowledge.

Atheist-agnostic: Absence of belief in a god or gods. (Not aka nothing!)
Atheist-gnostic/strong: Same as above but also active in his disbelief. Claims God 100% can never exist.

Theist-agnostic: Belief in a god or gods.
Theist-gnostic: Claims God is 100% real.

Well, I'm an atheist, but prompted by the few people here who are actually answering this incorrectly, I'd just like to tell you that it's B. I do not believe in a god, but that doesn't mean I can't believe in a religion.

"A" means without.

a Theist is one who believes in God or Gods.

An Atheist is one who is without God or Gods.

An Agnostic is one without knowledge or gnosis - they do not know if God does or does not exist.

Technically, agnosticism is the correct position to be in, and so I dconsider myself an intellectual agnostic who prefers to be labelled atheist!

Atheists: Lack a belief in God
Theists: Believe in a god, whichever it may be.
Agnostic: Feel there is not enough evidence either way to make a decision.

Atheist - one who is not theist.

Theist - one who has a theology - a system of religious beliefs, generally believes in 1 or more gods

Agnostic - one who does not hold a belief unless objective emperical evidence is presented (therefore they generally assert you cannot say whether a god exists or not)
