there really is so much to learn....you don't "forget about them"...if you are truly in love.
but...to answer the question...it's different for everyone to get over an ex. stay busy and surround yourself with positive, uplifting people. try to avoid sad songs and places that remind you of them. You will get over them in your own time. don't rush into finding love again...you will likely be disappointed. When it is time for you, it will happen.

You might not...time and Life experiences tend to change people, their priorities, etc. It may rebuild (the love) but if it does, it's likely to be somewhat different than it was in the past...especially if a significant amount of time has elapsed.

It takes at least 7 weeks. Trust me, I've watched a lot of doctor shows on t.v. I also play acoustic guitar and recycle when everyone's looking. Trust me.

I think if you were really in love with that person you wouldn't have forgotten about them. And face it, do you really want to force yourself to be emotionally tied to someone you obviously aren't really emotionally tied to?

we can't force ourselves into or out of love.
love just happens. and gradually.
and we usually meet someone we connect with out of the clear, blue sky -- when we least expect it.
you'll see!!
meanwhile enjoy being YOU.
