Kentucky Lake for cats. Look at the map..... Large portion in Tennessee. I grew up fishing Kentucky Lake. Its at Paris Landing, do a search and you will see. I love Reelfoot as well and Pickwick is awesome. If you want cats though, Paris Landing at Kentuck Lake is the deal. You won't regret it. That lake was headed down hill 15 years ago but thankfully had made a come back.

Lake Douglas is a great catfishing lake and the little Tennessee river is a good river to catch large catfish

Reelfoot Lake has some good catfishing, and it is a really neat place too. Cypress trees, bald eagels, and other cool stuff. It's in Northwest TN, close to the KY border.

Most rivers, we live close to the cumberland and i have saw a few 30 and 40 lb ones come out 9of it,

i do not know if it is the best place or not, but i know that a year or so ago, some people were fishing in the mississippi river in memphis, and they caught a really huge catfish, 30 - 50lbs I believe it was.

there is a place in blount county...its called louisville point, i used to catch 10 or more in about an hour...it is in friendsville, need more info, write me...hope this helps
