if she is going in her pants why do you say she is potty trained? a lot of kids her age do not like to take the time out to go to the bathroom. you need to get her into that routine. I would start by taking her to the bathroom every two hours. Give her a treat if she is successful. Use a special treat she likes but can only get if she uses the potty.

from what i gather form your additional details you have 2 daughters one of which is potty trained
but the question is about the other one who is not and keeps on pooing in her pants.

if this is what you meant make the question clearer, if it is not ignore the rest of my answer.

my advice would be to to put/keep (it is not clear by the question) the second child in nappies but let her wear pull up style ones for a number of reasons
1) it would make here very jealous of her sister if her sister gets to wear big girl pants but she has to wear a nappy and get changed like a baby.
2) if she does start to potty train she can take it off and go to the potty by herself.

to try and help her potty train make a sticker chart, you can find templates for them on the internet, and make it so that there is something they can work towards that they really really want so they are really motivated to try and reach it. this is where most sticker charts fail because they have a nice reward but the child is not really that motivated to try and get it because they dont want it terribly much

hope this advice helps if it is relevant

If she goes in her pants still she is not potty-trained fully. Try a reward chart for when she does go in the potty and when she goes a week with no accidents get a treat...like at the $ store.

keep encouraging her to go in the potty. that's really all you can do. I had a "talk" with my 3 year old. She was afraid to poop in her potty. I told her that when I was a little girl, I was afraid to poop in the potty too. That caught her attention. I have a ring that I always wear that she loves. I told her it's a magic ring & that if she holds it while she poops in her potty, it wont hurt. So, she held the ring & after a few tries, it worked. From that point on it was easier. I went & bought her one of those cheap adjustable rings & told her that's her very own magic ring. good luck!

God how lucky was I my 2 boys were potty trained by 2 yrs old but they did it at there own rate we never actuallt used a 'potty' but we let them watch us go i think at that age its about learning rather than anything else. Every child learns at there own speed and even thou one of your twins is ok they're still indivduals and perhaps not quite ready yet just be patience

I would suggest buying pull-ups for now at least until she's comfortable going to the bathroom on her own...especially if the nursery isn't willing to help.
Does she go at home just not at school???
If so, then she's probably not being asked and receiving the same support...have a talk with the teachers and make sure they are asking her like every hour

She might be upset to wear diapers again. So, put them back on her and tell her when she goes poopoo in the potty every time, then she can be a big girl again and wear big girl panties.

I don't get it, you said that she is potty trained but she doesn't use the potty and does it in her pants. Thats not exactly potty trained.

I think the nursery could be a bit more supportive, it was only an accident. Don't be too tough on her else she might get worse. Lots of praise when she does use the toilet is the best way to encourage her at this age.
