You and your fiance should buy gifts for all of the attendants (the bridesmaids and the groomsmen). Also, if you want to buy gifts for the ushers and the parents that is fine as well. I hope this helped.

Gifts should be purchased for:
bridesmaids (A good idea is jewelry to go with their dresses)
groomsmen
flower girl
ring bearer
Pastor
Wedding Planner
If a family member is helping our by making cake, flowers or doing your hair a gift would be appropriate.
You can also give the checks for payment (Photographer,DJ) in a nice Thank You card for helping to make your day special.
We also gave a special small gift to each set of parents...for putting up with the chaos of a wedding and teaching us the family values that we would take into our marriage.
Congratulations!!

You don't HAVE to, but my fiance and I are buying gifts for:
Maid of Honor
Bridesmaid
Junior Bridesmaid
Best Man
Groomsman
Extended Father of the Groom
Mother of the Groom
Extended Mother of the Groom
Father of the Bride
Mother of the Bride
We are NOT buying gifts for each other. We figure we will spend that money towards things for the honeymoon instead.

For your wedding party- if you're a groom, buy a gift for your bride or vice versa, gift for your bridesmaids, maid/matron of honor, groomsmen, best man. if your parents and/or your fiance/fiancee's parents helped out paying for the wedding, give a gift to them as well. But don't break your bank account. I know alot of people like gift cards/gift certificates from Best Buy, Olive Garden, Target, Walmart, some people think that gift cards are tacky wedding gifts but they do get used! That way you know that they can buy whatever they want/need. I also know lots of like Olive Garden gift cards!

That's entirely up to you. Most people give gifts to their bridesmaids and groomsmen. A lot of people also give gifts to the parents of the bride and groom. Some people also give gifts to their grandparents and godparents.
When you are budgeting for gifts, also don't forget to think about tips for your officiant, musicians, wedding planner, etc.

If you are the bride- Bridesmaids, flower girls (something small)
Groom- Groomsemen and Ushers and ring boy (something small)
Pastor, Wedding planner, anyone who has helped out a lot with the wedding you want to thank.
Really you don't HAVE to give anyone presents. Think about who you would like to give a thank you to for being in/ helping with your wedding.
