I am not a healthy eater! Is the vitamin enough to give my body what it needs? Thanks!

According to Dr. Dean Adell (I used to listen to his radio program), there is no consistent scientific proof of a benefit to taking vitamins pills. Basically, the nutrients in the pills aren't absorbed very well and almost all of them are 'pissed away', hence the bright yellow pee when you take them.

Whereas vitamins and minerals in foods are absorbed slowly and in concentrations that the body can use more effectively.

It depends on whether or not you have any vitamin deficiencies. I take a daily vitamin, but am anemic, so it is not enough for me. I take an extra iron supplement.

well.. not really. multivitamin supplements are best coupled (always) with a healthy diet and regular exercise. it could only give so much, and you shouldn't be dependent solely on them for your body's needs.

Multis do not have fiber, nor do poor eating habits. You need to get that from somewhere or you'll have digestive problems that you'll wish you didn't have.
