I never wear my shoes in the house. I take them off right at the door and walk around in my socks. It's extremely comfortable, and it keeps the floor clean.

I always take my shoes off in the garage or on the front porch. Everyone in my house leaves their shoes at the door as it is a house rule. I take my shoes off whenever I visit someone elses house and instruct my kids to do the same. I never go past the door without taking my shoes off and walking around the house in socks.

I take my shoes off the moment I hit the top of my stairwell. Number 1 if you don't that's an awful lot of vacuuming you would have to do per week. Especially if you have a large family or even a family with small children.

Number 2-I have light colored carpeting and I don't want any sh*t you may have on the bottom of your shoes in my house.

End of story...

Ive started to take them of now as wearing shoes in the house wears out the carpet. I also am starting to get others that come in my house to do the same as you don't know what people have stepped in & I don't want crap on my floor!.

I do wear shoes at home mostly all the time..... I usually change into my slippers/sandals as soon as I get back home from work, but my BF and my very few visitors don't, they just keep their shoes on and it's ok. i'm very lazy to mop the floors so I don't like being barefoot because they're usually dusty LOL. I recently visited Scandiavia and they all take their shoes off when going in their houses, and it was sort of funny for me and hard to get used to it....

We take off our shoes after entering the house. We wear slippers inside. Why do you need to know this?

Yes, we wear our shoes in the house. The dog is the only one that gets the floors dirty when she comes inside and she doesn't wear shoes!

Since my wife and I take off our clothes as soon as we enter the house, then no we do not wear shoes. It would look silly to be naked and have shoes on.

I sometimes take them off to stimulate the bottom of my feet and it just feels soo good to be barefoot! If I do wear shoes inside, it's usually flip~flops!

I'm not obsessive about taking them off, but it's usually the first thing I take off. I'm just more comfortable barefooted than with shoes on.
