you must be at least in your 30's if you have a 13 yr old.take your daughter and move away.no RUN.now.you are grown.your daughter will think men do this to women and will grow up thinking it is normal for someone to treat women like this.so go now.do not get married till your daughter is over 18.and no sex till married.you can then do what you want.get married or stay single.your daughter will respect you.good luck.

Hmmmmm lets see...
grown woman
unwed mother
living with father
job?

Seems funny all of a sudden you found a decent guy. But per chance you have, how about moving out and living on your own like a real adult. That would be much better than moving from daddy's house into your bf's house.

You have to crawl before you can walk.

Your answer is in the first 4 words of your question.

You are a grown woman.

If you don't like your room-mate, you should move out.

You can do it politely & with respect, since he is your father. But, you do not have to do what he says anymore. Of course, you have to realize that if you remove your support from his life, he may very well remove his support from yours.

Just continue with your plans to marry and move out. Your father doesn't have too short a leash on you if you have a fiance. Just reassure your father that you are not abandoning him. I'm sure that's his biggest fear since your mother passed.
