Actually, it has long been observed that a human fetus basically imitates the history of evolution in the womb. First a single (complete) cell, the fertilized egg. Then it divides and divides, and eventually cells start to specialize, and after awhile it looks like a fish, then gradually takes on the form of a primate, and finally looks really human only a couple of months before it is born.

The problem for those who want that single cell to have an intelligent origin is that the documentation they're hanging onto is faulty. It's not that it's a bad premise... it's that your example wouldn't pass fifth grade biology -- like... two different creation accounts in the first two chapters of Genesis, laid out in different order. Sorry kids. Needs work.

Until the two come together, that is the sperm and the egg, it is not a human being yet. It takes both. God placed the egg in the woman's body and the sperm in the man's from creation of the first man and woman. They didn't just appear.

They ignore the fact that one cell becomes trillions, resulting in a massive increase in information. All Creationists' arguments are flawed, but this argument is more obvious than most. They just prefer the lie.

u maybe partially right but to me... there is noway i came from some cosmic soup that all of a sudden sparked life.. the big bang theory or otherwise. I know being a Christian and its way of thinking we started is hard to accept. but u hav to hav faith.. just think if Christians r right and others who do not believe in God are wrong...i would prefer to be in my shoes not theirs. if people who believe in God are wrong and the others are right, oh well. at least we lived a respectable life:) at least the Christians who are doing good.

I don't know of anyone who would say that.
All life starts out as a cell.
Now, if you are arguing the case for Verticle Evolution...
...to say that all life came from 1 primordial cell...
... that's where I disagree.

And how did that FIRST cell get here? It was not a cell that began! You must go back and back and back-- see you cannot become anything unless without a mans sperm and woman's egg. God designed it that way! He made A man and woman first-- then reproduction was designed thereafter through them!
This makes PERFECT sense. For in the beginning SOMETHING had to create a human. A cell would not of just happened out of nowhere. God made the entire man and woman-- then made reproduction through his sperm and her egg. Makes perfect sense and reminds me just how awesome God is!

those who would argue against this basic biology are not worth arguing with. it is a waste of my time and yours to try to convince boneheads about the egg and the sperm
all I can say is, their poor parents....
