I have this guy friend that i have been best friends w/ for 9 yrs now. We have been on and off talkin to eachother bc we have had distance and stuff. well, everytime we meet back up and start talkin its like we never stopped talkin. We just pick right back up where we left off which is good. We tried the datin thing in highschool but it was kind of wierd so we just stuck w/ friends. Well, 3 weeks ago i got my old phone line back up and he called that night. its like it was perfect timin. well, we started datin and nothin felt wierd at all. We were both happy. He gave no signs of nething bad. He is perfect. Last time we hung out it was great. He said that we were going to hang out the next day so i txted him like usual and got nothing. i tried talking to him the next day and nothing again. so, it's been about a week of not talking. I stopped trying b/c maybe he needed some space. well, now he hasn't talked to me or come over at all. ne1 know what could be up w/ him? i hate for us to end

The worst case scenerio is he has been in some kind of accident or he is simply being immature and doesn't have to backbone to tell you he wants out and hopes you will just drop him. Go try to see him and he does not respond end it right there.

It sounds like things have moved really fast since the phone call...
In just 3 weeks you've gone from being friends to like.. in a relationship..
just slow things down a little bit, this same thing happened with 2 of my friends, and the guy got scared because it was all a little too perfect..
like he's never had feelings like that before, and he didnt know how to manage them.
Just leave him for a while, distance makes the heart grow fonder remember.
If he hasnt spoken to you within another week, i suggest ringing him and sayin ' hey fancy hangin out?'
just be casual, you obviously really like this guy and don't want to throw away 9 years of friendship, so just play things cool.

There must be a reason that he has stopped talking to you so suddenly. Maybe he isn't sure of how he feels and needs some time to think things through. Try calling him once more and tell him that the two of you need to talk so you can find out once and for all what the both of you are and what is up. If he doesn't want to talk, or wont answer again, don't waste your time on him. You can find somebody better who wont ignore you.

Try talking to his friends, sounds like somthing definatly happend and if you guys have been friends for 9 years think..what could cause him to lose complete contact with you? After all you know him better than anyone else on here, just ask around and see whats up if you cant get a hold of him if you try and get nothing then all of a sudden he comes back and says "what happend?" blah blah you can say atleast you tried to get a hold of him, all you can now is try to find out whats up

As long as the two of you have been good friends, why don't you just communicate with him some other way. Pick up the phone, go to his home, send him an old fashioned letter. Just say you are a bit concerned, and is he ok. and to contact you. If he doesn't respond to any of that, he is either dead, or something else is going on that either he hasn't told you, or that you haven't included in your posted question.

obviously this guy is not really as good as you think. it seems like he is using you whenever he wants company he just goes to you then leaves you. probably doing whatever he wants. honestly i have been in this position and the only advice i can give is to try to be pleasant with him but dont keep feelings for him cuz all they do is end up leaving you confused.

maybe he lost his phone? although a week without a phone is a pretty long time. maybe you should go by his house and just check if he is still alive. don't try to talka bout any relationship stuff just say you were checking if he was alive and then say bye.

maybe he has some trust issues.. perhaps he doesn't even know he does?
whatever it is, you might just stick with being 'friends' unless he takes care of whatever it is which is making him behave this way?
hugs
