I posted this before and now I'm keeping it up like an ongoing debate.
Doesn't anybody feel a little freaked that while we are busy with Iraq that other countries are going under the radar and even places like China are hurting us by pulling away goods and poisoned products? What about the nuclear testing that was "resolved" by Bush in Korea? We are completely blinded by the fog of war (so what wrong usage of the saying). I mean seriously this is starting to sound like we are all behind some giant Iron Curtain. Where is the news that focused more on safeguarding America than stating the obvious?

Well, honestly, I feel like the news media is being hindered by a few things.

A) The birth of the conservative outlets, i.e. Fox News. Fox and others will take anything the other outlets say and yell and scream about the liberal bias, when in reality, the journalists are just reporting. In fact, journalists themselves don't get to decide what goes on the air, but the editors and producers do...who usually swing right themselves.

B) Bush's executive order on people speaking out against the war or the administration. People who are "a threat to national security" can have their property seized immediately. This bipasses and removes half of the bill of rights from us in one simple gesture.

Why would any country on the face of this planet will start a war with a country which has clay soil, drained out natural resources, constant floods, hurricanes and fires, paper houses, more different police than all other countries combined, full of stupid, blood thirsty and mentally ill sexual perverts and with an ugly looking money which appears to be saturated in urine?

The news may play it up along with defense contractors, but the truth is Russia can't afford to pay the electric bills for theri military base, while China's navy can't reach much past their coast.

How, exactly, do you have any clue what our government is or isn't aware of? I'm pretty sure if you're thinking about it by what you've heard on the news, then they are well aware of it.
