WELL I SAY THIS:(about your cult)

2 Timothy 4:3

everthing you know comes from another Mormon.(your teachers)
you only trust other mormon teachers because the bible would destroy your religion without more mormon doctrine.

I've never told Mainstream that, nor have I heard any Latter-Day Saints tell that to a christian.
Actually the Timothy scripture sounds like Christians, when ever one of you don't agree with a doctrine with the church you are attending, you create a new church so fill your "Itchy" ears.

First of all I tell other Christians that I believe that they have a right to believe whatever they want about their own religion and about mine too. I claim the right to believe what I want, and the right to dispel notions of "evilness" in the LDS faith.

I generally leave other religions out of my conversations; I do not judge your level of faith in your doctrines nor the validity of them compared to your teachings and scriptures.

I leave the judging of your faith in the capable hands of Jesus Christ.

As far as believing what people tell me to believe -- that does not sound like me. I am the guy who always tries to look at facts upside down and sideways to find other conclusions than what politicians/teachers/pastors tell me the conclusions are.

My testimony comes from God through the Holy Spirit (Holy Ghost if you will). I know what I know and I believe what I believe independent from what my parents and leaders have taught me (although the conclusions are the same).

If you don't believe me then I say -- please take my advice and let Jesus Christ be the judge of me and you pay attention to your own salvation.

Best of luck and God Bless

D

Sir; I currently am not Mormon; but my question is 'Have you read the Book of Mormon for yourself recently?
Further, if one believes 2 Tim. 3:16-17 then why do many people ('Christians') in this country claim currently and recent past that the 'old testament' is Genesis-Malachi, when the index(or Table of Content which defines old testament as Genesis-Malachi ) is not scripture either?

Have you ever said to a Mormon "You are going to hell"?

Sounds to me when people condemn another, they are taking the place of the Judge, Christ. That to me is very wrong...no person has the right to "tell" another they are right, wrong, going to hell, or whatever. That's Jesus Christ's job and He will do it perfectly.

>YOU'VE BEEN TRAINED TO SAY THIS:

When was I trained to say this? I don't even know this verse. And I've been LDS now for almost 30 years.

Be that as it may, how do you know it's not you that has the itching ears?

Again you judge unrighteously. Read it again.

3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
4 Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?
5 Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.
(New Testament | Matthew 7:3 - 5)

We respect your belief, can you do the same? Isn't the gospel is all about free agency?

11 We claim the privilege of worshiping Almighty God according to the dictates of our own conscience, and allow all men the same privilege, let them worship how, where, or what they may.
(Pearl of Great Price | Articles of Faith 1:11)
