Basic to make Mantra Powerful - Devotion, Dedication and Practise Example - Veera Hanuman I heard a story in Ramayana which was told by My Mother There was a little boy who came to sage Vismamitra. He asked the Guru to teach him Upanishads. The Guru said U dont have patience so go and come other day. The boy went and came back after a week. The Guru said he dont have time as he have perform yaga so come on the other day. The boy came back after a month. The Guru once again said U come after 2 months because he is going to penance. The Boy came back after two and half months. This Guru got angered and said you come, you go. The boy took these words as the mantra. He practised it for 3 years. One day the boy opened the eyes and saw a mountain before him. He spell the mantra you come the mountain with huge sound came near to him. He spell again U go the mountain moved to its own place. He tot its right time to study Upanishads. He went back to Guru. And Said the whole thing what happened. The guru was pleased and inclined him to teach Upanishads. The boy is later known as Sage Gautama. Now think which mantra is powerful. Well Aum is a fundamental foundation of all mantras including Gayatri Mantra. So Aum is the base and Gayatri is the Ground Floor of Mantras. nama shivaya, namo narayanaya are the First and Second Floor. Regards Hoods n Hisses

How can inanimate matter whirling around the sun like the earth itself is doing have any malefic influence on insignificant denizens on earth? It is much worse, when the discussions are about non-existent 'shadow planets' like Raghu and Ketu.
One of the Tamil Saivaite saints sang,'What can inauspicious days or planets do to one immersed in meditating,'Om Nama Sivaya'?
Meditate on the formless One using the Panchakshara, or if you are a Vaishnavaite, the Ashtakshra,'Om Namo Narayanaya'.
'Like the rain falling from the sky reaches the ocean (by different rivers), in which soever form God is worshipped it all reaches the same Godhead.'-Bhagavat Gita
