Ok, I got 4 free football tickets from my boss today. Me and my fiance are going. My parents are normal, sane people. His mom is a psychotic nut job, but his dad is really cool. I would have more fun with my parents, but if I don't take my fiances parents, she will nag me to my grave. Seriously, she will take this personally.
What do you think I should do???
I have to bring our parents cause my fiance let the cat out of the bag, so to speak

What a wonderful opportunity to broaden your relationships. Why not have your fiance buy 2 tickets for His parents so that your parents, you and your fiance, and his parents can all enjoy each other at this event. The next time your fiance scores on some tickets You can buy the tickets for your parents to share in that event with the other four people.

Take your fiancees parents. If your parents are as sane and normal as you describe, they will understand this situation and for the next time, compensate your parents toleration and comprehension.
Any way, today you can solve this problem, but it seems that your future mother in law will create you strategy needs, and in that case, do not suffer, use it as an invitation to get a more clever and inteligent criteria.

If your parents would be ok with you taking his parents, and his parents would have a problem with you taking your parents, than you should definitely take his parents. I can see that you really want to take your own parents, but if it will be that much of a problem, you might as well take his. Will it really be so bad? Maybe you could use this time to bond with the psycho-mom, and it can also serve as leverage for next time you do something because when she nags you can say, "Hey, we took you guys to the football game last week!"

Tell the fiance to take all 3 in laws himself since he let the cat out of the bag, and you stay home and drink beer, unless of course it is a really good game. Then take all 4 tix, go yourself and scalp em.

Well I would say you got the tickets to treat the men in the family. Take your father and his father, With you guys to see the game. Since you will be getting married, let your mother and his mother plan you a wedding shower or just take them out as a girls day out.I wish u the best :) Good luck..

instead of you both going give the tickets to both set of parents and if you can afford to buy two for you fiance and you so you dont have any heart aches on either side. that's what my recommendation is hope it helps.

i will have to agree give the 4 tickets to both set of you parents and you either buy 2 tickets for yourself and be there or instead of buying tickets for yourself go out for a dinner and dancing and have night to yourself good luck.

Take his parents because you already know there will be trouble from his mother if you don't. Since you know that answer, did you think you'd get any different response? I mean, she's not going to have a radical personality transformation just because you'd rather take your parents to this instead!
