I've had much better healing results when I used sea salt.
I used table salt on my monroe and had a terrible time getting it to heal.
I have used sea salt on every piercing since and had really excellent results.
I would switch if I were you, but if you think your piercing is doing well, you should be fine.

Well over here when i got mine done i got a bottle of "tea tree oil" but its actualy a mix of a few different oils... any way i dont think it matters coz most table salts are sea salt and if your belly ring hasnt gone rotten i guess that it dont matter...

i become instructed a seasalt soak. yet while your piercer is official, i'm valuable he has his motives to keep away from the sea salt. If it is no longer solid, then you definately could talk a solid piercer and spot what they think of.

yes, in fact its probably better.. since it's purer. NaCl is just fine.. if its Iodized, thats good too.
its really 6 of 1, half a dozen of the other... salt is salt really.
I might use some isopropyl alcohol on it too, help ensure that you disinfect it when you clean it.
