Two weeks is usually the standard amount of time. It gives the employer plenty of time to find a replacement. But they do have the right to ask you to leave before the two weeks is over. Anyway, good luck in whatever you decide to do.

Two weeks is a fairly standard length of time to at least offer to work after you turn in your resignation. Sometimes the employer will release you sooner than that.

not long i would think for a part-time sales job, those have pretty high turn-over i would think. so no more than 2 week notice. maybe even 1 week.
