Theres satisfaction every day in being a parent. But the biggest sense of accomplishment is when your child enters adulthood as a functional member of society.

Our boys are 11 and 13 and I already do. My wife and I both do. When you can come home and not strike your children, when you put them first, when you're willing to sell all of your worldly possessions to make your children happy, you have graduated.
I did this when our son was only 2 1/2. I don't hit them but I have sold much to make them happy and with no regrets.
