I think the Bible has SO MANY names for our God.
By the way. God and Jesus and the Holy Spirit who lives in us when we ask Jesus into our hearts--
ARE ALL THE SAME.
I pray for people to understand--I Love to call on Jesus as my Prince of Peace---when I am worried , or anxious, or scared out of my wits---I call on Jesus, and His Holy Spirit in me calms me down and lets me KNOW that NOTHING can Harm me, because He keeps us safe from harm and safe from evil.
That is how I pray.

Lord is a title applicable to people other than God. It means ruler, master, etc.... the title was given to noblemen, princes or kings or those with that type of designated authority.
God is designated as the name of, and the title of the Eternal.
The letters (consonants) that made up Gods name YHWH were unpronouncable.... and His name was so holy it was not to be spoken (or written) out of respect. So the Hebrews subsitituted Elohim (God) and Adonai (Lord) for God's name in scripture (written) or in speaking.
The English word Jehovah which is a really bad (not very accurate) translation of the Hebrew name for God, (Yahweh) came about by taking the consonants from YHWH and adding in the vowels from Elohim and Adonai. By itself, YHWH is still unpronouncable.
The term, Lord God is simply assigning God the respect he deserves as Sovereign, King, Ruler, Master ... as He Is Lord.
Adonai - Lord
Elohim - God

Christians often refer to the Lord God because He is truly the Lord of their life. It is with reverence that they use this term. On the other hand non-Christians refer only to God in that way because He is not the Lord of their lives and they don't recognize Him as such. Non-Christians don't experience the covenant relationship God as the believers. They are not spiritually minded.

LORD God is the English translation of Gods real Hebrew name and His title together.
LORD God=YHVH Elohim. the pronunciation I will not write.
God=Elohim, just title
God is "what" He is not who He is.
He actually has a name.
