Assuming you meant "lesbians" and "pedophiles" ...
A) Yes, I believe gays and lesbians are sentenced to hell ... for the same reason anyone else in hell will be there. Not for being gay or lesbian, but for rejecting Christ as Lord and Saviour. For some reason, and much to Christianity's embarrassment, many modern religious groups have singled out homosexual behavior for special persecution, despite the fact that the Bible lists MANY types of people who will not inherit the kingdom of God, including murderers, liars, gossipers, backbiters, and rebellious children. It's not ABOUT being gay, it's about trusting completely in Christ as the only way of salvation.
B) Pedophiles ... life in prison ... That's a tough one, and I'm glad I'm not responsible for passing sentence on anyone. Sexually abusing children is a totally heinous act, and I'd have to say for a one-time offense it should definitely involve several years of prison, and maybe a very-long-term probation after that -- but I'm not sure about a Life sentence. If the person is a repeat offender, then getting him off the streets and away from little children permanently is an increasingly good idea.

Christian fundamentalists believe that everyone, including themselves, need to change in order to go to Heaven. Why pick on the gays, actors, and wine lovers? Yes, we must all experience the transforming power of Holy Spirit promised to us by God when we receive His Son, Jesus Christ, into our lives. If we don't, then we just stay on the road towards condemnation, and no one quicker than any other either! And, yes, God promises He will change us, not we ourselves. This has been done to me and for me out of His great love. I am no longer gay, a drug addict, nor a coveter! I am a son of God who practices following Jesus in every way, unfortunately not perfectly though! And, you know what, you are no different than me! Really, I'm just like you, but I got Him, Whom is the difference, for eternity as well. Won't you consider joining me and the rest of us who are being transformed by Him?

IF you believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, you will go to heaven. Thats it. That is the requirement. People, regardless of religious perspectives, will always always make mistakes. It doesn't matter how good or bad you think you are. Perfection is needed, and no one is perfect. So GOD said, fine, if you are willing to come back to me, I will forgive EVERYTHING. God says don't be a drunkard, not don't drink. God says to love, not to let your lust consume and control you. Sure there will be gays in hell, but there will also be straights. You want the BEST advice? Read what the Bible says. If you don't understand it, just say Hey GOD, can you help me understand this. IF you want salvation, you go to God. Period.

I'm not a fundy, but the bible does say that gays won't go to heaven. I'm not sure what thespians or wine-tasters (oenophile) has to do with anything.

Me I'm also no fundamentalist, but maybe you just need to know that there are serious doubt about the traditional interpretation of the "gay-condemning" Bible verses. Even if you equate gayness to sin, then it only means we are all the same and all deserve punishment. That's why we all need Jesus. We as human beings are in no position to judge.

I'm Catholic and not a fundamentalist. All human beings are the creation of God and willed for their own sake, made in the image and likeness of God.
God doesn't force anyone to be with Him because He's a gentleman, so anyone might choose either heaven or hell.
God doesn't put you in either place you choose for yourself.

Nope. The bible does condemn homosexuality. However, as is the case with ALL sin, it is not punishable by eternal torment in a burning hell. There is no scriptural basis for that belief.
King Solomon plainly stated the condition of the dead... ALL dead ... at Ecclesiastes 9:5,6
Then there's Ezekiel 18:4 which says that "the soul that is sinning it itself will DIE." AND Romans 6:12 which states that "he who has died has been ACQUITTED of his sins."
I hope that helps you.

Practicing ones who don't see anything wrong with what they're doing and never repent until the day they die - Yes. That's not my judgment, it's God's, and it's in His Word.
1 Corinthians 6:9-11: "Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God."
I don't know what an "oenophile" is.

Good question.God loves us all,and he will be the final judge. It states very clearly in the bible 'that man shalt not lay down with another man',and the word man relates to female/male.It all depends on their relationship with Jesus Christ, and whether or not they repent of such things. If God rejects them, yes they will not be in heaven.
