If omnipresent means omnipresent, then the threat of a hell defined as eternal separation from said god is impossible.
Also, it is impossible for an omnipresent god to NOT be in someone's heart....or for it to not be in someone's life.
If you believe in an omnipresent god which must enter someone's heart, or believe in an omnipresent god with a hell, or believe that atheists don't have your god in them, could you explain this, if you feel inclined?
I'm neither an atheist nor a Christian, just curious.

How can you not have a relationship with something that is OMNIPRESENT?
If there is no air in your lungs (which doesn't happen, FYI) then air is not OMNIPRESENT (it's not, anyways.)

BTW: Your god may or may not exist, but you're clearly using the wrong words to describe him.

One last thing: Posts attacking MY beliefs demonstrate a problem with YOURS. Read the ROC, please, and abide by them.

I think there is a fundamental misunderstanding of the word omnipresent among these answerers.

Well spoke and an excellent question!
I have the same question!
Even.... does God have dominion over Hell? As a Christian, the answer is "yes." But that doesn't add up does it?
I'm a Christian, and I personally do not believe that God is a god of negative reinforcement. I also believe God is loving and God is just. By these three traits, I've deduced that Jesus is not the sole path to salvation. One of the paths, yes. Perhaps the path intended for those who are farther away from perfection than some (like Ghandi). I don't know that for sure, though.
I think God is omnipresent and ALREADY in our hearts. At the very least he's left " a little something" in all of us. We can glimpse it... we can acknowledge it... and encourage it to interact in our lives, and to engage with other people, and the parts of God that are written on THEIR hearts.
Which may be part of the idea behind the word "Namaste"
Maybe....?
Sorry to "answer" is such crazy broad terms :)
Good luck

Good question! God will always be present in all situations. Many may deny it, but He is there! Whether you are a believer or not, does not make Him disappear just because a person says He doesn't exist. The difference is when a person asks God into their heart, He willingly moves in and gives you peace, and knowledge. When you reject Him, you have just closed your heart to the knowledge of His existence. But believe me, He is still there...waiting. If you are cast into Hell, you have made your ultimate choice not to deal with Christ; but I believe His presence is still there, but He no longer awaits for you to call to Him. Of course, again, we don't know how far His mercy will reach. But HE IS EVERYWHERE.

When you choose not to accept God as Your Lord, then you have sealed your own fate. Yes He Is everywhere, but that doesn't mean He lives In everyone's heart. To be sent to hell, means eternal separation from God.No Relationship. I'm sure you and everyone else here have relatives, some I'm sure we've never met. But until we have a relationship with them. We are separated from them. Same way with God. Only He waits patiently for you to accept Him Into your heart. He'll never force Himself on anyone. But It's like this,Don't sinners & saints enjoy the same season's of the year ? It rains & the sun shines on the just as well as the unjust.

It has long been known that the idea of an omnipresent, omniscient, and omnibenevolent deity is not self-consistent. Nor is the idea of any use, as it can lead to no useful predictions. Hence, there is no point in believing in it.

God is EVERYWHERE ALL the TIME in all His power and glory.
He IS in the hearts of the very children He made.
He waits for them to ask His son, Jesus into their hearts and change their life---wanting peace and Joy and Happiness, and FORGIVENESS FOR THEIR SINS.
But only ONE person can do that---the ONE who wants it---
ANYBODY,.........
A Christian is one who believes in Christ and what the Bible teaches.
Please believe in Christ Jesus.
Just to say His name will make your insides stir, because the Holy Spirit is inside you---and He WANTS to give you that peace that passes understanding, and joy unspeakable (you can't explain it) and contentment with whatever is going on around you.

Everyone has God's divine spark, whether they acknowledge Him or not. You are correct in saying that it is impossible for God to Not be within us, because he is.
Along my spiritual path, I have come to the realization that hell does not exist. It's a clever way to gain obedience, which was devised by man for their own material purposes.

A relationship is just that. You could be in the presence of a person and not relate to them at all. Like a miserable married couple who just watch TV and are couched in their indifference.
And, by relate, I mean it in the sense of relating or not by choice, not being unable to relate.

We are not God, that we know all things. It's a fool that's determines he knows it all, regardless of the subject.
What God has created, only He understands so why do we ask these questions?
You have a car and a manual and yet still don't know what's under the hood?
