I was told years ago by a friend of mine that if you give Alka Seltzer to a canine it tear up its inside. Here at work we were discussing about pooches eating the wrong stuff like chicken bones and such. I was told before that will kill seagulls, never seen it but I heard that numerous times. But about a canine, no one at works seems to know or heard of.

Is that true?

I don't know about dogs, but I do know it'll kill a seagull.

I wouldn't give human medication to a dog, if that helps you at all. That's why veterinarians were created =P
