The verdict is still out on Mitt Romney. He may be the best of the candidates, but there is still a while until the election, someone better may come along. There are things about him that make me leary. I think he is too political. I would never vote for some one based solely on their religion. I have been LDS my whole life, most LDS people are very good upstanding people- but just like in any group there are those members who are not living the way they should. Judging a persons character based solely on their religion is just a bad idea.

No. He has many good qualities. He is a good manager and is well organized. He is thoughtful and doesn't get flustered. I will still vote on issues, and I have not heard anyone give an opinion on how to solve some of the core problems we will have after Iraq and after immigration.

Nope. I'll vote for him because he seems to be the most effective leader and the most honest of the candidates. He also seems to be the only one who actually lives the conservative values he talks about.
But...the fact that he's a mormon will definitely help him get my vote! :-)

I don't believe in a religious test for public office -- you and I should not vote for or against Romney based on his religion -- if you do you are a religious bigot.

Well, we saw how well that worked out for us Christians.... let's hope not. I like W. as a person... but he's not a great president.
