Why,... that's brilliant!
I see your point!
I'm going to go outside now and pray for a meteor to hit my neighbors house.
(They are very nasty and deserve it, trust me)
Thank you, Bad Advice Guy!!!

1. if you reject Christ all the way to the end, even when he proves himself to you, you will have chosen hell by default. if you reject Jesus and his new heaven and earth, you can't go there so there is no place else to go but hell that is prepared for the devil, his angels, his followers.
2. I did not say Christianity is Scientifically proven to be true. However, Science Journals are not going to contain very thorough studies on how many people have near death experiences, see Jesus, nor are they going to give any credibility to the theories of Scientists who say there "had to be a flood" because of "how quickly the grandcanyon had to be formed," and so on and so forth and so on. A person has to dig for the evidence of Science studied by people who happen to be Christian at this point because the idea of "God" being "real" is not popular at this time in history.
3. What study are you talking about? What prayers are you talking about? did they study charismatic holy ghost filled Chrisitans? I seriously doubt it. The probably studied Catholics or some denomination known to be very conservative in their beliefs, a denomination that does not believe in standing on the promises of God like the early disciples did. Therefore the study most likely is not thorough.
Your condescending outlook is showing just a bit but that's okay. bless you.

Well, I've been a student of the spiritual world and psychic phenomona for a long time and in my career, I've seen many many things that just cannot be explained by known science.
I take the idea that if any of it is true, it ALL has to be true. So I believe that God is the ultimate scientist and will gladly show himself to those who truley want to see.
BUT, I make a great distinction between true Christianity and the bastardized pervere form of pseudo-christianity that parades as the word of God in our nation today. True Christians know that God isn't going to condemn anyone to hell (unless that is where they want to be).
PS, if 90% of the studies show prayer has no effect, does that mean that 10% does?

DISAGREE. There are many things that science cannot back up or "prove", because they cannot be subject to the scientific method of proof. The scientific method is to queary, hypothesize, and then repeatedly test, test, test, test the hypothesis. If the hypothesis can be repeatedly proven through the tests, then we can say that the hypothesis has been "proven" true scientifically.
These methods are obviously unapplicable to many things. Proving an event in history really happened, for example, is impossible with the scientific method. One would have to be able to manipulate time, space, and entire continents of communities of peoples to even test ONE historical hypothesis, and the testor would have to be able to do that again, and again, and again. Behavioural sciences are also nearly exempt from the scientific method: their formulae are based on repeated observations of subjects. Human relationships can be studied, but it is nearly impossible to come up with a test for romantic love that will work each and every time, so that is out.
Religion is another field that is exempt from the scientific method. While some forms of "magic" can be shown to be merely applied chemistry or medicine, at it's core, science cannot touch faith. The basis of faith in God, ANY GOD, cannot be tested scientifically. The foundation of ANY religion is "What is the relationship between God and Man?" To scientifically test this would require a testor that could "control" an unseen spirit (or deity), as well as a human being, for the purpose of the test.
Now, it is possible to manipulate a human being into doing almost any activity. Humans have been doing this for thousands of years. However, I would challenge ANY scientist to prove they could manipulate God into co-operating with them, for the purpose of proving His own existence.
No, Christianity has not, cannot be, scientifically proven. It is a relationship with God through Christ, not a formula, or a machine. Faith is, by definition, trust in another. Each individual on the planet has their own reasons for trusting in God, and that cannot be tested; there are too many reasons!

Operating under the assumption that Christianity has been scientifically been proven to be true (I wanna reach through my computer and slap the little turd who tried to pass this statement off and in turn humiliated all Christians on this forum, by the way): The Creator and Lord of the universe says its fair. He gets to make the rules. If he says it's fair than it's fair, and our opinions irrelevant.

Oh yeah, pi is exactly 3.00, the sky is a solid dome 15 miles or less above us, the universe was created in 6 days about 6011 years ago, there was a world flood that a 450 foot boat took examples of nearly 3,000,000 species to survive, both God and Devil inspired David's census, Judas died both by hanging and by falling, Jesus rightly said Doomsday would occur before all of the people hearing his sermon died, etc. The Bible is quite accurate scientifically, but it is not as accurate as Grimm's Fairy tales.

You are just trying to stir people up!
It will probably work, too, it goes on in here
every day anyway.
answer: in the end it will be revealed much more
clearly how God created everything according to
His plan and loves everyone greatly.
God is the true and greatest scientist, engineer,
and artist of the universe.
Actually, the universe is more like God's art work.
We just figure out the patterns we are capable
of figuring our and create some of our own things
in out limited capacity and intellect.

According to the teachings of the Catholic Church, other people than Christians can make it to heaven. God judges the heart. If someone knows for sure that Christianity is the REAL DEAL and still refuses to join then they could possibly be condemned to hell. If someone is a Christian and they realize and KNOW that the Catholic church is the one true church started by Jesus Christ himself, and they choose to live a different christian denomination because it's easier or they like the music better or for whatever reason they could possibly be condemned to hell. Jesus is the only one who can judge hearts, and the only one who can condemn.

Not agreeing with YOUR OPINION [only]...
I see that it is purely your personal opinion that you express and you do not represent God in anyway, as I can see from the shallowness in your understanding of religion itself - whether it's Christian, Hinduism, Buddhism etc.
If those others do not share the same views in your belief system, it does not really matters ~ unless, you have gone to hell and back to share your scientific findings there in hell - and, you mentioned hell only, it could also be possible that you are one of the sinner - or else, you could have said, 'we who do not share the same belief system will not be able to taste the Heaven that your religion could have offered for those who done good deeds during this lifetime".
And, I find it unfair to comment on your statement [which is purely personal, with that knowledge, with that experience, and with that amount of material you read to form your belief'.
I find you selfish, that your statement might offend others of your same school - who more or less understand that religion is a personal belief system - which is not meant to be debated, but to be practise and set example upon.

The wisdom of man is foolishness to God. I am a believer who does not require scientific proof. Doubting Thomas would not believe until he saw Jesus in person. I am more blessed for believing without seeing any proof by science. It is by faith and grace that I am saved. If science can lead someone to believe it can also lead others to disbelieve. Sorry but I cannot support your claim or argument.
