hi guys, as mormons you are told that you will become God's yourselves.

But ummm, isn't this exactly what Adam and eve were told.
Eve ate the apple beleiving she will become a God herself, and could then decide for herself what is good and bad

Since this beleif led to adam unleashing sin and death onto the world, and since no one can beocme God as the job is already taken

Waht is it mormons hope to become, or whats the ponit of following mormonism?
as it seems to be the first religeon adam adopted after he followed the actions of eve, and look where that led them, in fact look where it led the rest of us

Mormons your thoughts please:

As a Mormon, this is my hope:
To live eternally in the Celestial Kingdom, as an exalted daughter of God, with my family, God the Father and Jesus Christ.

I don't believe, nor have I ever been taught, that every single Mormon will become a god. When we do talk about it, it is becoming LIKE God, never above Him or replacing Him...it will always be under His direction. We say "UNTO the Most High God" that is actually how we describe becoming a god or godess. I don't believe every Mormon will become a god/godess, I think it will be a select few (which could be still a lot considering how many people have ever lived!) and that it will take EONS of time, it won't just be like "well, you were a Mormon, you're a god now." This is a sacred subject we just don't know that much about because God has not revealed that much about it.
I don't worry about it too much, just the opportunity of being with my family forever is enough for me.

Remember that when Adam and Eve unleashed sin and death into the world, they also allowed all of us to live on this Earth. Without that act, we could not gain bodies, learn and grow, and return to our Heavenly Father and become like Him.

We hope to become like our Heavenly Father and to inherit all that He has, as the scriptures promise.

Psssst, it was not an apple. Where does it say she would become God. Must have missed that passage. And was it Adam who unleashed sin? Missed that verse too.

Can't give answers on incorrect premises.

Too much godding going on, I thinkl.
