Foxnews has something where you can submit your own questions. I was thinking of asking this of Guliani but haven't sent it yet. What do you think?

"When you were mayor of NYC you gave everyone here illegally taxpayer funded benefits because you didn't know what else to do with them. As President, would you continue to discourage illegal immigration by rewarding them with taxpayer funded services and a special path to citizenship, or would you enforce the existing laws and try to make it difficult to live here illegally?"

I put the "because you didn't know what else to do with them" because that's exactly how he explained it. He said the fed would deport x number, so now he's left with y number in his city. What else is he supposed to do but give them benefits and treat them like citizens?

Of course his position if ridiculous, but I don't want to question to be too wordy. Is there a better way to phrase that in my question?

If it is true and you can back it up, it is an excellent question. I wouldn't expect much in the answer though.

Sounds like a good question to me.
Maybe change the end bit into a question about WHAT laws and regulations he can think of to make it difficult living here illegally.

Here's another question for him:
While more and more efforts are being made to resolve the problems with people coming illegally to this country, nothing is being done for those that try to come here legally and follow all the rules.
Many people come to this country illegally because there ARE no legal ways.
Don't you think you need to make the legal routes of immigration more obtainable before trying to force people to take them?

Although... to be quite honest.
It's FOX we're talking about.
Do you honestly think that harsh questions like that will ever reach his ears if you submit it through a network as bias as they are?

Good question, but I would remove the: "because you didn't know what else to do with them." part. I would just stick to the facts.

OK, I wasn't aware that he said that. It's a very good question then.
I don't think it's too wordy. It actually sounds like it's coming from an ordinary citizen and doesn't sound too contrived. I look forward to hearing his answer.
