Many years ago when I was in an apartment I was washing my clothes. I went upstairs to get more laundry and a book because I never leave my clothes in a laundry room because people do weird things. When I got back down stairs I found a shirt of mine on a table. I had put is to dry on a gentle cycle someone took my shirt out and put their clothes in then put it on high. They did not want to or could not pay or thought that I was wasting a dryer with one shirt. I got so pissed that someone was trying to use my money for their clothes. It was a rainy day so I took their wet clothes out and got them muddy then put them the table. Put my shirt back in and reset to gentle. a few minutes later the guy came in found his clothes but never said anything because he knew he tried to take my dryer he rewashed his clothes
FYI I know that it was my dryer because it was between two more dryers that had my clothes in them.

I think it was okay. Apparently, the guy thought it was okay too, or he would have said something to you. I had a similar thing happen to me when I lived in an apartment. People are idiots!!

Well, getting them muddy was a bit childish, but I would surely have taken them out IF I was sure that the dryer had not stopped. maybe he thought "the dryer is stopped and they forgot a shirt". you never know. I would have just waited for another dryer to be emptied and let it go.

The gentleman was out of line to use your money and dryer time. The fact that he didn't say a word shows you he knew he had been busted. Perhaps it taught him a valuable lesson.

I'm not sure I would have taken that extreme of a measure. I probably would have removed his clothing from the dryer and set it out for him to find.

You could have been the better person and put them on top/beside the dryer/on a table and put yours back in, instead of making them all muddy.

I think taking his stuff out was acceptable but the muddying them up was a bit unneeded. Since you stayed in the room you could have placed his things on a counter and let him know you didn't appreciate what he tried to pull.
Next time i would make sure to take the book with you the first trip down...LOL

Having had sick infants AND sick spouses, there is excellent similarities. perhaps this is because of the fact we learn, as women persons, early on in llife by using gazing how mom does issues, that there is not plenty time for women persons to be sick. oftentimes takes place that once mom's sick, there continues to be dishes, laundry, human beings to get out the door, even paid artwork to do inspite of the ailment. maximum adult males do not learn that section. They undergo in strategies whilst they have been little - you purchased sick, mom made you a mattress on the sofa and gave you a bell so which you should get something you needed from her once you needed it. they did not see the component the place mom is sick yet nevertheless far flung from mattress issues. so as this is my conjecture on it. call and function soup introduced- not via lady chum- take a warm tub and sleep, Jack. you will sense greater beneficial after. Oh, and remember the tylenol for the fever.

i dont blame you for getting upset. takes alot of guts to be that big of an asshole. but i do think taking his clothes outside and dirtying them up was a little extreme.
maybe you should have just taken his clothes out of the dryer and put them on the table, then talked to him when he returned.

I think you dont have to pay evil for evil rather you overcome evil with good. You should have drawn his attention to what he has done and if he refuses to realise his mistakes you simply pack his cloths and keep them one place for him while you continue with what you were doing.

I would have done the same thing; at least by taking it out, not making it dirty!
