What would I do to PROVE it? You mean like they don't believe that it is true? This is different than just showing it, which is done in a million ways.

I had the "proving it" problem with my husband. I twas hard for him to accept the fact that I love him, bc he doesn't feel attractive and worthy and has a horrible self esteem.

I proved it by marrying him 15 1/2 years a go and having a baby with him 14 years ago. He says now that he believes me when I tell him that I love him, but he doesn't know WHY I love him.

I can't win...

Prove myself? Why should anyone have to PROVE themselves? The proof is just my being there for my partner, through thick and thin, through all the trials that a relationship will undergo. The only thing that "proves" oneself is time itself.

I would be myself. Anything else would make it a game.
