Jesus spoke openly against all false beliefs. Was He "hateful" too? I'm never bothered when someone calls me a "hater". Jesus said the world will hate you if you know Him and truly believe in Him.

It is human nature to judge, and unfortunately just because we are christians doesn't mean that we are immune to judging people by their appearance or actions. We all fall short. It's funny that people seem to think that because you have been baptized and are born again that you have got to be perfect. It is a process and we fight with the same demons as everyone else. We are not supposed to judge, but understand that we will be. Those judgements don't matter though. There is only One that counts, focus on that.

Yes, there are times I do get lumped in with the other Christians. I try very hard not to be unkind, rude or selfish. I too try to help out others when I can. Sometimes I do draw a line if I feel like I am being taken advantage of. But, I do not want to be judged either.

agree with the first reply.
one thing i hope people really do understand. people DON'T REJECT JESUS.
alright ? people don't , when a non chrisitan pray to their god or diety , when their prayers get answered , to them , their god is as real as jesus . yet there are people telling them that their god is false and that they will burn in hell for not believing in jesus.
you won't really understand how these people feel because i was once these people . why would me god be false ? when it teaches to be good and answer my prayers too ? why ? doesnt make sense that mine is false while yours is true right ?
and there they are , people like CJ , who will turn people off from christianity , like it or not , there are many of them . it's not the demon who are turning people away , it's these group of people.
if Jesus do exist , and if he does , he will understand those geniune non-christian and so . no point quoting from bible to say jesus wun act this way or that , no single group can get the interpretationg right , what make you so freaking sure you are right ? get it ? (the you here doesnt refer to you )

I believe that other religions feel that Christianity is too pushy just like many people believe all Muslims are terrorists. I can agree that not all Christians are bad, but some of them are so horrible that they put a bad name on Christianity just as the Muslim terrorists do to Islam.

I judge people. We all do- anyone disagreeing with that is a liar. We make judgments every day about people- do I trust them? is this person really who they say they are?- is this person a positive or negative presence in my life?
If we didn't judge people, we would be VERY easy to take advantage of.

I try not to Judge. Our Father in Heaven shall judge us by the same measure we have used to Judge others. Atheists themselves Judge, like you have pointed out. God Bless you, keep up in the service of our Lord.

Not everyone is judging you, maybe they just had a bad day. If you truely believe in god, you know only he can judge you, right? Well... then dont worry what people think. If you know your doing good thats all that matters. Keep on keepen on. :)

Judgment is good. Discrimination is good. Intolerance is good.
Without the above we remain in stagnation. These products of our ability are all useful until they are based upon poor foundations. To judge or to discriminate or to show intolerance for another's thought or actions one must first search himself and his own conclusions. This is a condition that science and reason and logic of thought are perfectly willing to do while it is a condition that the religions tend to scorn.
Think about it... and make honest and fair amendments as needed to your philosophy first.

It seems to me you are making a judgement about how other people see you as an excuse to tell everyone how wonderful you are in the eyes of Jesus.
This isn't a judgement just an observation for you to reflect on.

Yes, people do judge , they do it all the time. I think it is in us to do that. But the bible has much to say about judging. We are to judge people , but only against the standard of the Word of God , anything else is flesh and that is wrong.
