What do you mean there is no father christmas??

Around the age 11, it's better to come from you than from school, and around age 11-12 other parents are telling their children there isn't a father xmas, my mother told me around 10 too, Because the other children know, it can be an embarrassing predicament in school for your children if they still believe in father xmas. not only are they being told father xmas isn't real they are probably going to be teased about it... it really is best to tell them yourself, if you want to save your children from a huge shock. YOu may be surprised, the oldest two may know.

Not only that, but not believing in father xmas, also brings values to your children, they will learn the TRUE meaning of christmas that it is abotu giving, not expecting gifts from a total stranger, just for being good all year round. (but we give our children gifts no matter what...)
it will be hard, or surprising when you tell your children, but it's something that is important, and it's just one of many things that you will have to tell your children. It's not as bad as telling your children about the birds and the bees. I promise. (with this day and age, the earlier you tell them about that the better -another thing you dont want themt o learn on their own, atleast warn them about it.)

Good luck, *Hugs*

My mom did the comparable element with me and he or she'll finally be thankful for each and all the flaws you probably did, in basic terms as i'm. there is not a thank you to take it decrease back, yet you are able to tell her that the tooth fairy is a factor of you and which you have been so blessed to be her tooth fairy. And that the tooth fairy won't be everyone yet mom and father, yet that there is a tooth fairy in all human beings and that although she's not somebody separate, the spirit of tooth fairy is quite actual...Love and unhappiness that your infant is turning out to be up. this is quite what my mom informed me and it meant the international to me. The magic is often there. I never enjoyed the entire Santa element because of the fact my ultimate chum did not have plenty funds and yuletide become very constrained, while from "Santa" my bro and that i've got been given plenty. I resented him asserting that Santa become propose because of the fact my chum become solid. at ten, 4th or 5th grade, maximum all human beings will tell her that he's not actual. My brother is that age additionally. it is so unhappy to ascertain it circulate. this is a few distance too youthful. what has the international come to? i don't comprehend. yet comparable element is actual for father Christmas as is for the TF. he will constantly be actual interior the spirit of Christmas. make helpful in case you tell her, that she constantly knows that.

my son was very upset when he found out from the kids at school... this was about 26 years ago. at the time, I had an encyclopedia so i looked up St. Nicholas, who was a real person, and read the story to him about what a charitable person he was.

Maybe you could look up St. Nicholas online when your children have questions? It really eased my son's mind to know there was really such a person at one time.

to be completely honest, they usually find out on their own - at school or through friends, just if you realizethat they know, just ask that they dont ruin it for the little ones. my bet who be that at least the 14 and 13 year old know, maybe it's time that you can talk with them about it.

Why do you need to tell them? Usually kids figure this out on their own. That doesn't mean they don't like to play along, though.
