True, these two species of bacteria were 75% similar, but humans and apes are about 95% genetically similar! :)

Sorry, all living things they cannot see are adressed as one "kind" by cretinists, which kinda gives a message about them. If you show them a cat turning into a dog (sigh) they would say "now show me the same dog turning into a monkey".

There are papers on specification all the way back to the 1950s.

If you really go through that link that you just posted, they pretty much built a totally new life form. It wasn't quite from scratch, but it was damn close.

They were both bacteria, and genetically similar bacteria at that:
"Both bacteria are mild pathogens of goats, and are genetically similar, sharing about 75% of their genomic material. "
Turn a cat into a dog, THEN I'll be impressed :-)

Edit : for Rae ,,why would you think they couldn't turn cat to dog ,,just couldn't be done after birth
but they do change man to women

evolution,big bang theory's do not disprove god(or vice versa) ,yet help understand how he done it ,, if he done it

God created everything...including science...which incorporates evolution and genetics. I don't see any conflict between science and religion.
