You can make a strada. Butter both sides of twelve slices of bread, lay 6 in the bottom of a 9 x 13 baking pan. Lavish bacon/sausage on top of that and grated cheddar cheese. Then add the other 6 slices of bread on top. Now mix 6 eggs with some milk or cream and a little powdered mustard. Pour over the layers and bake at 350 for about 1/2 - 3/4 hour until top is well browned and egg mixture sets. Cool a little so slices are set well, and serve. Yummy. You can use whatever you wish in the middle layer. Bacon, sausage, ham, or veggies and cheese.
