At the time of JC, I suppose you could categorize faith in what he is said to have done as seeing faith, but none of us have seen these things, so it remains blind faith. Seeing faith is, say, evolution, where we have heaps of evidence for something and accept it based upon that evidence.

Blind faith has no basis. Seeing faith is not without basis.
What you have presented is about the Jews who trusted in the laws given by Moses but did not trust in Jesus as the Messiah not realising that all the laws actually pointed to Him -He fulfilled the law, kept and established the Ten Commandments and abolished the Ceremonial Laws by His own sacrificial death. In this respect they were blind.

Not exactly sure where you are heading, but faith is given to all men. Compared to a grain of a mustard seed which is extremely small, but with the correct nuturing can become an emense plant.
By faith, living by faith, walking by faith our faith is multiplied, grows become stronger. I have stroner faith now than when I became a Christian (was an athiest) 12 years ago.

Faith is when you know something is going to happen, and can consciously recognize the fact. IE...I have faith the sun is going to come out tomorrow. I have faith that God will help me through this day..etc... To my understanding, this would be lazy faith. Something that one would place as faith, but know and depend on them happening because well, they always do. Blind faith is walking off a cliff, and knowing that God will send angels to catch you before you hit bottom. I take it on blind faith that Christ will be returning soon, as Jesus spoke of.

erm.. ok, I'm not exactly sure whats ur question here.. ^.^"
faith is not something u can earn.. u cant obtain it in just 1 night either..
when we accept Jesus into our lives to be our Lord and saviour, we rebuilt a lost connection with God.. therefore, we live by faith and not by sight.. what do you think would happen to moses and all the people of Israelites if Moses lived by sight and not faith??
if you do not have faith, God cant reach you because you do not first believe!! Jesus has paid the biggest price for u, so salvation comes for free for u.. just take it!!
the Holy Bible are proven facts!!

This is quite a tangle.
Faith of any kind; here, there, young, old, blind, seeing - all share the exact same trait or characteristic.
And that is....they are all an incomplete form of knowledge.
They are suspicions, guesses, doubts, desires, wishes, but not "knowledge."
They can be the entrance point to limitless infinities, fantasies, and dreamworlds,
But without credible evidence to back them up, they can never rise to the level of real knowledge.
We do not have to live in the well of belief; we can live in the ocean of knowledge.

Romans 10:17
-Faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ.
Therefore if I can't muster enough faith for belief in God when people tell me about him, it is not my fault. God must have decided not to bless me with enough faith for belief and therefore destined me to hell, or the messages I am hearing aren't true. Thats according to Paul.

The law is to show us, and establish for us, that we are unable, and unworthy to share a life with God. There can be no faith put in it as a way to heaven, for it is unatainable of your own free will. If you trust in your own good works (law of Moses) then you have a blind faith, because you do not realize this inability, and set out to gain heaven of your own accord. There is no hope in this type of faith, for hope lies in the sacrifice of Jesus Christ to pay this debt for you.
To acknowledge your inability to perform the letter of the law, to see that unless God provides a way unto Him, and to humble yourself and count your own efforts as dung, is to hope in the promise of eternal life with God byway of His grace. Knowing first that any good works you can perform must originate in a rebirth in Christ. This faith is the only faith that can please God, because it orignated with God.
This is also why men hate you when you teach that you must be born again. The new birth stems from God's election, and cannot be earned through anything good within a person. When you tell them that God's mercy has seen fit to extend this grace and mercy toward you, their immediate reaction is that you are arrogant to believe you have a grace that they themselves are unable to attain on their own.
In reality it is amazing to those who have been born again, that God's mercy has been extended toward those who had only shown themselves enemies of the cross of Christ. They have been humbled, knowing it was nothing of themselves to have gained this incredible mercy. They desire only to let the decieved know their error, and yet this godly desire is counted as hate.
To sum up, hope in one's own ability, good works, and free will to choose Christ is a dead and blind faith. There is no hope put in Christ, only in self.
Hope in Christ's sacrifice, and God's election is the only hope that can please God, because it originated with God.
