You know, Ive been using clearasil ultra (NOT the regular stuff) face wash since I was 16 and started getting pimples and Ive never had more than 1 pimple on my face at one time for more than 3 days since then, and that is VERY rarely. I count on it more than the pimple creams because it works and doesnt dry out the pimple so you want to pick it, it just goes away. Ive never tried proactive but this is much cheaper and Ive sworn by it (use it everyday!) for 8 years now. Try it out, hope this helps.

Keep your face clean......wash it often with a mild soap, this will keep your pores from "clogging up". Then drink plenty of water, 4 - 6 glasses a day, water is the best internal body cleanser, it will make a difference in your complexion and skin within a week. I have raised 9 teenagers, all had the same problem with acne, some severe, but water always worked, and of course keeping their face clean was a must.

Wash it every hour with plain water, cut down on foods that are either high in saturated fat or that you are allergic to.Take a vitamin a supplement about once in three days. Use a sunblock while in the open and wash it off at home(prevents dust from getting into pores). Don't rub sunblock or water in, just apply/rinse. Try garnier pure pimple cream(it does work).
DO NOT FREQUENTLY USE SOAP (soap remains on the skin surface can aggravate acne and pimples).

first, don't eat a lot of fattening, sugary foods. These make your skin worse all over, not just on your face. Second, johnson & johnson makes some oil-free wipes. They are great to use after you're getting sweaty. It wipes all the oil off your face, and you can see it on the cloth. Finally, you need a good face wash that you must use at least twice daily- once in the morning and once at night.

It is acne -
Acne is a disorder resulting from the action of hormones and other substances on the skin's oil glands (sebaceous glands) and hair follicles. These factors lead to plugged pores and outbreaks of lesions commonly called pimples or zits. Acne lesions usually occur on the face, neck, back, chest, and shoulders. Although acne is usually not a serious health threat, it can be a source of significant emotional distress. Severe acne can lead to permanent scarring.
Acne is often treated by dermatologists (doctors who specialize in skin problems). These doctors treat all kinds of acne, particularly severe cases. Doctors who are general or family practitioners, pediatricians, or internists may treat patients with milder cases of acne.
The goals of treatment are to heal existing lesions, stop new lesions from forming, prevent scarring, and minimize the psychological stress and embarrassment caused by this disease. Drug treatment1 is aimed at reducing several problems that play a part in causing acne:
* abnormal clumping of cells in the follicles
* increased oil production
* bacteria
* inflammation.
Several types of prescription topical medicines are used to treat acne. They include:
* Antibiotics – help stop or slow the growth of bacteria and reduce inflammation
* Vitamin A derivatives (retinoids) – unplug existing comedones (plural of comedo), allowing other topical medicines, such as antibiotics, to enter the follicles. Some may also help decrease the formation of comedones. These drugs contain an altered form of vitamin A. Some examples are tretinoin (Retin-A2), adapalene (Differin), and tazarotene (Tazorac)
* Others – may destroy P. acnes and reduce oil production or help stop or slow the growth of bacteria and reduce inflammation. Some examples are prescription strength Benzoyl peroxide, sodium sulfacetamide/sulfur-containin... products, or Azelaic acid (Azelex).
ABOVE ALL ONE OF THE MAIN REASON FOR GETTING ACNE IS "CONSTIPATION". So you have to treat Constipation if you have -

3 times a week, i steam my face with boiling water. Just fill a big bowl with boiling water, then place your head over the bowl for 10 minutes. Put a towel over yourself and the bowl so that no heat can escape, and no cold air get get to you. Also every night and day i use the Clearasil pads on my face.
Both these things produce great results.
- hope i helped :) xx

Shah, my advice to you is to make sure you're eating well (fruits and veggies) and drinking plenty of water. Include a good daily skin care regimen that includes a deep cleansing masque at least once a week (more often if your skin is oily). This should straighten your skin out nicely.
