I don't think it will be healthy for someone to lose 12 LBS in just a week. I am also starting my own diet which I plan to lose 50 pounds. Just starting to cut back what I eat and then next week I'll just eat nutricious foods. :))

Approximately 5-7 pounds. This is the norm for people starting a diet. If it is a little less, do not be discouraged, as everyone is different.
